We are now able to teach the OSHA 10 and 30 general industry!


Matt Murphy has been added to the instructors for Safetyfest 2011 in Billings Montana to provide two 6 hour residential fall protection classes.


We are currently working with NAHB to again travel and provide the residential fall protection course to several cities across the US.


Matt Murphy was asked to be an instructor at the 2011 World of Concrete and they have asked him to present 2 sessions including Safety By Pictures, a 90 minute presentation of safety through a variety of real world situations and Dangers of Dirt, and a 90 minute presentation on the dangers of working in and around trenches and excavations. Both to be performed January 18th 2011, check back often for more information as the event gets closer.


5th Annual Mid Atlantic Construction Safety Conference – May 12th and 13th, 2010 - Hard to imagine when a small group of safety professionals came together in early 2005 with the idea of developing a regional construction safety conference, that we would be planning the 5th , yes 5th Annual Mid Atlantic Construction Safety Conference for May 2010. SEE Inc.'s Matt Murphy has been named as a presenter at World of Concrete 2010. He'll be instructing on his highly successful and acclaimed class "Fall Protection: What You Need to Know." According to World of Concrete, the 2009 "Fall Protection" session that Matt officiated had the highest attendance of all the safety courses they offered in their program. This years program will take place on Wednesday, February 3rd in Las Vegas, NV.

Both the book and video will be available by the end of June. Buy the video and you'll see Matt in several key scenes. Manitowoc Cranes has learned that the chord mounting pads on several models of their #79A tops may delaminate. Additionally, Manitowoc found that there may be missing internal welds which may cause cracks to develop. Units with delaminated pads and/or cracked welds may be structurally compromised and must be immediately taken out of operation. On the 26th of April the Department of Health and Human Services issued a declaration of Public Health Emergency which, in effect, authorizes the FDA to "review and issue emergency use authorization for the use of certain laboratory tests to help detect the newly discovered strain of influenza and for the emergency use of certain antivirals." Additionally, the World Health Organization (WHO) raised the worldwide pandemic alert level to Phase 4. A Phase 4 alert is confirmed person-to-person spread able to cause “community-level” outbreaks. As of April 28th officials with the CDC are advising residents in CA, KS, NY(city), OH and TX to take precautionary measures in an attempt to further contain the virus.
